OOTD: Patterned Crop Top & Bursts of Color

This was from a day last week where I was especially feeling myself–enough so that I decided to show off my pale tummy to the world in this fun patterned crop top! I later regretted this decision after ordering a grilled cheese, tomato soup and fries (with ranch, obvi) for lunch. Oh well, you can’t win them all.

This sweater has been in my collection for quite awhile, but because of it’s memorable print I don’t pull it out too often (it also comes with a matching midi pencil skirt that I’m freaking obsessed with). It was the perfect weather last week to show off a little skin but still keep it comfy with a sweater. Unfortunately this is an oldie from Nasty Gal, however I linked a few similar styles that are just as fun here, here and here!

I paired it with my favorite pair of Express high rise jeans (same pair is no longer available, but here is a similar option that is not distressed here and one that is distressed but mid rise here). High rise jeans are my JAM. The only kind I wear. I have two pairs of mid rise but as someone who eats a lot, I just feel more comfortable knowing I have the option to hide my gut if need be. I know, I know. I’m pretty sexy.

Kept it simple with my go to black booties and a few fun bracelets (necklaces were not necessary with this colorful pattern) (similar here and here).

I dipped into my Anastasia Beverly Hills Artist Palette to create this fun and colorful look and paired it with a peachy nude lip. My favorite nude lip liner is actually $2.00! It’s the Essence brand and I’ve only seen it at Ulta but their lip liners are fantastic! I have almost all of them. I used a matte lip tint from Tarte (very moisturizing for a matte lip product, get it here) and topped it off with my go to nude gloss from Gerard Cosmetics (get it here, it’s on sale!).

I’m a huge fan of color so anytime I get the opportunity to play with purples and blues, I’m always down!
