I get so many emails and DMs each week asking me where are the must-see spots in San Francisco if you’re visiting. Depending on what you like to do, what kind of food you like to eat and how touristy you want to go (if at all) there are truly endless options.
One of my favorite things to do in San Francisco is to spend the day trying out different wine bars and munching on cheese and olives. And more cheese. Obviously, this means I’m not driving and am instead opting for a lyft or BART. Although with the amount of cheese I typically consume it’s a miracle I’m able to catch a buzz at all.
An alternative to the typical lyft/uber solution and the perfect way to spend an afternoon in the city with a group of friends is a party bus! So many of my friends book them for their birthdays and special events and it makes the entire day feel so much more exciting and fun. Plus the party doesn’t have to stop as you move from one location to the next, and in my personal opinion, the more places I can drink wine the better!
If you’re visiting San Francisco or live here (hi neighbor!) and want to find a new way to get around when celebrating check out the guest post from Party Bus San Francisco featuring 4 must-visit SF spots!
Four Stops to Add to Your San Francisco Adventure
San Francisco is filled with gems to explore. From picturesque views to busy streets, museums, and restaurants, there’s a little something for everybody to enjoy. Whether you’re planning a day to have fun with a group of friends or you’re simply looking for some new places to try out, there are tons of options to consider adding to your itinerary! Here are some of the newest restaurants alongside choices for wine tasting and shopping.
Mystic Room and Tavern
417 Stockton St
Mystic is a new addition to the San Francisco bar scene with an intimate speakeasy atmosphere! A fantastic list of creative cocktails isn’t the only thing that they have to offer, though. There’s live jazz entertainment to enjoy along with impressive dishes. Their food menu comes with options like Wagyu Steak, Bone Marrow, and delicious flat breads. Don’t miss out on the Gun Powder Green Tea cocktail, it’s a favorite!
AltoVino
1358 Mason St
AltoVino is the newest Italian restaurant in San Francisco, and everything here is exceptionally authentic. There’s also an impressive wine list with around 30 different wines to choose from. The pasta is perfectly al dente, sauces are balanced, and the service is outstanding. People particularly love the Apple Crostada dessert. Everything is made fresh in-house, and you can tell by the quality of the food.
Winery Collective
485 Jefferson St
Here’s a multi-winery tasting room in San Francisco! This is an easy way to try wines from dozens of local wineries without having to visit each separately. There is a $15 and $25 flight to choose from. It’s located in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf, so the location is absolutely perfect when you’re out exploring the area. You can find it next to the Cannery, about a block from the Hyde Street Cable Car Turnaround.
Wild Feather
597 Haight St
Are you looking to do a bit of shopping in San Francisco? Wild Feather offers unique items, and many are made from local designers. There’s a great mixture of clothes, jewelry, and accessories here. Even if you’re not looking to buy, it’s still a ton of fun to window shop at this friendly boutique. It will be pretty hard not to leave with a couple of pieces, though!
Be sure to consider your mode of transportation, especially if you plan to be drinking! Luxury car service, limousines, and party buses offer a great option for groups and individuals looking to get around San Francisco. It will be much easier to enjoy your day when you’re not dealing with traffic, directions, and parking. For more information, check out Best Party Bus Company SF.
