As cliche as it might be you can never go wrong with a bright floral print for Spring!
I spent this Easter Sunday with my parents at the dealership finally buying a new car and I. Am. In. Love. To fully appreciate my excitement about Bev (my new whip) you first have to understand that previously I was rolling in a 98 Toyota Corolla with no hubcaps and chipped paint. Yikes. But as someone who was taking the bus for my first few years in the city I was always grateful for Dolores (RIP) and didn’t mind (or at least ignored) the fact that she had seen better days.
With almost 300,000 miles and some pretty suspicious noises coming from the engine (I think?) it was definitely time to get a replacement. So we saw a great deal online for a Lexus 300 and picked up Bev that day.
It’s still pretty surreal that I can lock the doors with a button and that I have a sun roof, but what can I say? I’m easily impressed.
I wore this playful floral romper with cute wavy trim details for my first car buying adventure and it really made me excited that spring has officially begun! It’s pretty low cut so I paired it with my new favorite caged bralette from Express (get it here) and some gray tights to stay warm (still windy her in SF). I accessorized with my go-to dainty gold pieces (this is where I get all of my favorites), a wide brim hat (get it here) and my new favorite backpack (get it here). The romper itself is an oldie from Nasty Gal BUT I am linking my favorites for this season down below with a wide price range:
Criss Cross Front Romper ($70)
Which one is your favorite? Tell me in the comments below!
