OOTD: Feeling Clueless

I wore a skort from Forever 21 (similar here and here) for the first time since second grade and felt really good about it, probably because of the cute envelope cut in the front and preppy plaid print. I tucked in this flowy pirate shirt (okay it’s not actually called that it just makes me feel like I am one when I wear it, whatever) with pretty lace embellishments from Express (similar here and here) and tied it together with my go to black studded belt. I added a few pieces of blue and purple statement jewelry from Chloe and Isabel (similar here) and kept it simple with my black booties that are very, very well loved. As in their time is coming to an end soon (don’t tell them that though).

I pulled out my ABH Shadow Couture palette (when don’t I?) and used Chic on my lid and Azure on my bottom lash line for an edgier look with some sparkle (did you hear the owner of Shane Co. say “spaaarkkle” when you read that? No? Bay Area thing, my bad). I used my contouring sticks from Smashbox (get them here) to create a more defined look than I usually go for when I have less time. Lipstick is Pure Hollywood (get it here), also by ABH with Nude lipgloss from Gerard Cosmetics (get it here) over it.

Spent yesterday shopping with friends, eating delicious pizza and feeling  lightweight like Cher Horowitz. I picked up a few goodies at Henri Bendel (if you’re in the San Francisco area it is worth the trek to Valley Fair) broke my diet attempt at eating healthier to indulge in pizza that had heirloom potatoes, caramelized onions and white truffle oil (nothing more worth it). I did it all with two good friends which made the day that much better.

Now back to attempting not to pull my hair out at work!
