As an avid makeup collector I’m always on the hunt for new products to fall in love with. I recently was introduced to ArtDeco Cosmetics, a beauty brand from Germany, and got the opportunity to try out some of their products.
I was very clear when communicating with the brand that I would have to try their products for a trial period to see if I liked them and if I felt enthused enough to share them with you. I am pleased to say that was the case!
I tried out four of their top selling makeup products and loved every single one of them. Here are my thoughts:
MOST WANTED EYESHADOW PALETTE TO GO IN “ROSE”
This palette reminded me of the Naked Basics Palette and the Naked 3 Palette. Kind of like they had a baby. It’s super small and portable, just like the NBP but has pretty rose gold hued shades like the N3P. Smoke, Sand and Blush are great crease colors and add a nice, subtle warmth to your eye. I found myself applying Mud all over my lid the most and using Bark to add depth and dimension to the outer corner of my eye lid. These shades all had minimal fall out which is always appreciated. This is definitely a great on the go neutral palette that will help you create a great every day eye look in minutes.

ALL IN ONE MASCARA
This might be my favorite of the four products. I’m pretty picky with mascaras and tend to stick to my tried and trues favorites (Smashbox Full Exposure and Benefit Rollerlash). I was so pleasantly surprised by the formula and now I’ve been using it every single day. It really elongates the lashes and separates them beautifully. My lashes looked delicate and wispy after using it. I hate chunky lashes so this is exactly the type of formula I look for.

LONG-WEAR LIP COLOR IN “RICH TURKISH ROSE”
Any time I see a lipstick advertised as “long wearing” and it doesn’t come in a matte formula, I’m instantly intrigued. Unfortunately most lipsticks that are described as having a “velvet texture” on the lips usually feel amazing but ultimately just slide right off your lips. I was so pleased with this lipstick because it actually stayed on. The formula feels so comfortable and hydrating on the lips and the color pay off is gorgeous. I’m a sucker for any rose hued shades so I obviously chose the shade in Rich Turkish Rose. It’s a deep rose color that I think would look great on anyone. I took a picture of my lipstick when I first applied it at 11am and then again five hours later at 4pm and was really impressed with the staying power. It started to require touch ups around 6pm but I really can’t complain about 7 hours of lasting power!

MOST WANTED CONTOURING PALETTE TO GO
I’m all about an easy, quick bronze and glow kind of look so I immediately knew I would love this mini palette. It has the three complexion must-haves: highlight, contour and blush. I personally am not a huge fan of contouring for an every day look (it just looks overdone no matter how well you blend) but I do love adding some warmth to my extremely pale face. I used the contour shade as a bronzer since it had some warm undertones. I loved the coral pink blush and thought it would make the perfect spring time choice. I used the highlighting powder under my eyes to set my under eye highlight and was really impressed with not only the great brightening effect but also how well it kept my concealer in place. It has more of a satin finish so I didn’t use it to highlight my cheekbones but I loved it for setting the highlights I created with my concealer. If you’re new to the makeup scene and don’t even know where to begin this palette will make it so easy for you to dip your toes in!
