I’ve added a few new beauties to my ever expanding collection (I have a problem) and wanted to share my thoughts on what’s new in beauty! Some of these products would make great gifts and of course awesome picks if you’re looking to treat yourself!
LORAC MEGA PRO 3
I died when I saw this at Ulta in October and had to have it. Lorac is definitely in my top 5 favorite beauty brands and I always fall in love with their new releases. This palette contain 32 gorgeous shades with a great mix of mattes and satins. There are mostly warmer hues with everything you need to create a full eye look from top to bottom. There are so many beautiful transition shades that I love blending into my crease, as well as to die for champagne shades that add just the right amount of shine to make your everything look pop. My favorite shadows from this palette are Toffee, Rose Quartz and Cider. I’ve been reaching for this almost every day to at least use one or two shades and the formula is as always, smooth and blendable with fabulous color pay off. I’m so sad to say that it’s completely sold out 🙁 but if they release more I will update you on my Instagram (@shesmilesblog) and share the link! You’ll want to get your hands on this one.
MAC HOLIDAY COLLECTION
The packaging for MAC’s holiday collection is so pretty and adorable I simply can’t. I CAN’T. The Nutcracker theme is so perfect for the holidays and they really made this old school idea feel new and fresh. I purchased the Nutcracker Sweet Bronze Pigments and Glitters Kit and I’m in love with the bronze colors but can’t wait to play with the reddish brown glitter for Christmas. Reigning Riches Glitter is hands down my favorite.
I also picked up the Nutcracker Sweet Warm Eye Compact and I had such a hard time choosing between all three options but ultimately loved the delicate nudes that are inside this one. It comes with a mini duo brush (213SE and 214SE) for application. The yellow shade and the greenish taupe in the middle are definitely my favorites and when layered on top of each other make for a really interesting combination that illuminates the lid. I’ve always been a fan of MAC shadows and this palette does not disappoint.
HUM SUPPLEMENTS
After hearing about the Hum products from friends and on social media I finally decided to try them and see what all of the hype is about. I got the Runway Ready 30 Day Pack and the bottle of the Daily Cleanse supplements. The Daily Cleanse pills are for detoxing and clearing your body of toxins to help eliminate break outs and improve your skin. So far I’ve been taking them for about a week and half and have already noticed a difference in the health of my skin. I’ve stopped breaking out and my skin is looking more vibrant and feels softer. The Runway Ready packs include two different formulas, one is for glowing skin and shiny hair and the other is for strong nails and hair. I admittedly am not doing as good of a job with taking these daily as they are meant to be taken with food and since most of my meals happen at work I often forget to bring them with me. From what I’ve heard it is hard to notice a difference until you get close to finishing the 30 day pack, so I will keep you posted!
