Is there anything better than champagne in the middle of the day? It’s hands down my favorite shoot prop of all time. Well, maybe besides Brie.
With the holidays in full swing, I wanted to bring you a fun twist on your holiday party look with some metallic and lace details.
I shot this look the same day I shot my Thanksgiving outfit and so my friend’s dog also made it onto the blog (#famous) and I got to use her gorgeous dining room for some serious holiday party inspiration. If you look closely you can also see her cute little boy playing in the background!
I’m wearing this to die for lace blouse with the most beautiful floral embroidery. I snagged this beauty at Zara (currently sold out, but I’ll keep you posted!) and listed a ton of super similar options below! The polka dots and flowers give it such a sassy meets sweet kind of vibe, I’m obsessed.
I threw on what is in my opinion, a year-round wardrobe staple: the metallic pleated midi skirt. It adds an element of glamour and glitz to any look (try pairing it with a cute graphic tee and sneakers!) and is especially perfect for the holiday season.
The velvet embroidered booties are from my most recent affordable shoe haul and I CANNOT EVEN. The detail is so stunning, from the color to the jewel embellishments, I die. These will be receiving some series love over the next few months. They went SO well with the embroidered top but I can see them with a more understated look (think oversized knit sweater and distressed denim) as well.
My raspberry jewel toned Leo Clutch is from Rebecca Minkoff and I love how thin and sleek it is while still feeling so luxurious thanks to the velvet feel and rich color. The zipper outlining is so trendy but still subtle enough to not steal the show. If you need something that fits the essentials without being a bulky mess the Leo Clutch is the perfect party bag for you!
These tassel earrings have been on repeat until they died in a tragic accident on Thanksgiving night (I sat on them). They are just so funky and fun and I love adding a pop of color to offset a look. Check out all of my favorite blue tassel earring options below!
Finally, my dainty evil eye ring is from Katie Dean Jewelry and one of my favorite delicate pieces to throw on. It adds a little something special to every look (and makes for a cute gift!).
What are you most excited about for the holidays? Tell me in the comments!
Xoxo,
She
