With August coming to an end I’m trying to find an excuse to wear all of my favorite summer pieces before we enter into the fall season. I tried to wear this super cute off the shoulder tropical print dress when I was in Atlanta during July but after a night of one too many IPAs the only place I was hanging out that day was in my air bnb, praying for my pounding headache to go away.
This is such a vacation dress and the cutest way to add some tropical vibes to your look while still keeping it classy and polished. The cold shoulder look is so on trend for this summer (shoulders have been everything) and I already can’t wait for next summer to roll around so I can pull this out of my closet again. Maybe I’ll just have to take a beachy vacation before then (insert winky emoji/the smirky emoji aka me in real life always).
I threw on a casual denim jacket that’s lightweight and super comfy. I took these pictures where I live in San Francisco so the jacket was a necessary addition.
I am LOVING these comfy brown strappy wedges that I scored from my favorite inexpensive shoe website. Hey, don’t knock shoe dazzle (or as I lovingly refer to it as, shoedazzy) until you try it. I’m not good at walking in heels of any kind so when I find a pair that I can actually move in without looking like a delirious toddler I’m a happy girl.
This adorable oversized clutch is the perfect night time accessory and adds another fun pop of color to the look. Plus it’s big enough to fit my lipstick, phone and my tide to go (because your girl loves to eat).
I kept my accessories simple since my dress is so busy. Just threw on some pretty turquoise studs (I got them in my rocksbox this month and I am obsessed) and these cat eyed sunnies.
