Does your busy day look involve stained sweat pants, your old college hoodie and a a messy bun?
I get it. We’re busy people. Whenever I have a day off I make it my mission to cram as much into it as possible so I can feel like I actually put a dent in my never ending “to do” list.
Today I’m making doctor’s appointments, cleaning my apartment, getting my nails done, going grocery shopping and meal prepping for the rest of the week. All in hopes that tonight when I plop down to catch up on The Bachelor with a glass of wine I’ll feel like I actually accomplished something.
That being said, comfort is key when you’re running around all day but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style.
I went with a comfy striped turtleneck, a pair of high waisted jeans and my well loved red knitted moto jacket. The Parisian vibes gave me an air of sophistication without having to whip out the heels or a bulky blazer. I even went so far as to pair this look with my low top converse because I really meant business today.
I would recommend using your outer wear to really amp up your errands look so you can feel comfy and trendy. A nice structured moto jacket or a cool bomber will turn any casual look into one that actually looks like you tried. Can’t let go of the sweatpants? Trade them in for a black legging and call it a day. The grocery store isn’t your bed.
I opted for my Mini Convertible Rivington tote and some simple gold jewelry to make the look seem more intentional.
And I’m off! Wish me luck on my busy day!
