With so many exciting new trends this fall season it can be difficult to know which ones to incorporate into your wardrobe permanently and which ones will be “out” before all the leaves have fallen from the trees.
While I’m so into some of the new autumn trends (um, velvet anyone?) it’s always nice to know that you can grab some fall basics and create the perfect outfit in a pinch.
I look especially happy in these photos because my dentist appointment had been canceled (I am a child) and I got to spend the day eating my parent’s food visiting my parents and working on some new content.
Body suits are still super in and this muted moss color screams fall and is super flattering. Forever 21 is a treasure trove of cute body suits and while the one I’m wearing is currently sold out you can recreate this look using this option or this one (both super similar).
This camel cardigan is definitely one of my favorite pieces for fall because the length adds an interesting contrast to your outfit and the neutral shade goes with everything! I want to wear it every day!
As always my jeans are from Express because they are so comfortable and I love anything high waisted. This gives the whole outfit a casual vibe and ties the whole look together.
My booties are from Just Fab and I am so happy with how comfortable they are! Your girl cannot do heels so it’s always hit or miss when I order shoes. These booties are the perfect shade of brown to go with everything in my closet! Plus they come in a bunch of other fall colors too!
Of course I had to include my adorable Uptown Mini Blocked Satchel from Henri Bendel because I am forever obsessed with her. The perfect touch of chic for any fall outfit!

I’m am loving this look so much right now! For me, my go to fall outfit always includes booties. So either skinny jeans and cute booties or a cute skirt or dress with tights and booties!
