Alright, now let’s get down to business. A few things to know about me and my new blog:

WHO AM I?

I’m Sheila (or She) and I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was 5 and my mom bought me my first Barbie diary. It’s something that’s always been consistent with me. I fill up journals, constantly add random thoughts to my notes app and am always thinking about different ideas that I want to write down. As I grew up, my love for fashion and beauty became a huge part of my life. I guess you could say I’m really into self expression, whether that be through writing or a killer smokey eye. I’ve lived in San Francisco for five years and I get endless inspiration from this city. The architecture, the culture, the food. Everything. The best part? I’ve finally found a way to share it all in one place.

WHAT IS SHESMILESALLDAY EVEN ABOUT? 

She Smiles All Day is a blog about petite, affordable fashion (I’m 5’1), beauty trends and all of the countless delicious things you can find in San Francisco. My name is Sheila but everyone who is close to me calls me She. Growing up everyone in school always jokingly called me “Sheila Smiles” because my last name is Smires (so hilarious, really). So there you have it: She Smiles. Get it? Clever, am I right?

WHY DID I RELAUNCH?

I’ve had my blog for about two years and I’ve always had a vision of not only what I wanted it to look like, but also what I wanted it to mean to me. I’ve always wanted to find a way to write full time and with blogging, that’s possible. I knew if I wanted it to get to that point (still have a ways to go) that I needed to really commit and create something I could be proud of . So I got to work with the amazing team at Blogerize to create a new design that I’m in love with! I wanted to have a fresh start so I took some time off to prep a ton of great content so when I relaunched I would be ready.
