I think most of us can agree that November-January can be some damaging months for the skin, hair and lips. Sometimes your usual chapstick or moisturizer just won’t cut it. Here are a few of my favorite dry month products that I pull out every winter:
HAIR & SCALP: PHYTO PHYTOPOLLEINE BOTANICAL SCALP TREATMENT ($38)
I can’t think of anything that is more embarrassing that having a flakey scalp. Okay, there are probably a lot of things that are more embarrassing but it is definitely high on the list. Every winter the front of my scalp gets super dry and begins to flake. And I cringe every time I look at it. Thankfully last winter I was able to find this scalp treatment at Sephora. It says that it treats “unbalanced” scalps so if you have the opposite problem it could help eliminate an oil issue as well. I just squeeze a few drops on my problem area before I go to bed and after a couple of days my scalp is back to normal! I usually use it at least 1-2 times a week to keep it in check until winter is over. Get it here: http://m.sephora.com/product/P6039
SKIN & HAIR: JOSIE MARAN 100 PERCENT PURE ARGAN OIL ($48)
This stuff is magic. I’m not joking, it will save your skin and your hair. I use this all year round but it’s especially useful during the cold winter months. The best thing about it is that it can be used on its own–just one to two drops and your skin will be perfectly hydrated–or in combination with your usual moisturizer to give it a boost. And if you have split ends or just dry ends you can rub a few drops in your palms and apply it to them to bring them back to life. If you’re hesitant about the price Sephora always has a mini version in their impulse area that’s way more affordable. But if you want to go full size, get it here: http://m.sephora.com/product/P218700
LIPS: BITE BEAUTY AGAVE LIP MASK ($26) & DIOR CREME DE ROSE SMOOTHING PLUMPING LIP BALM ($28)
I am a huge fan of Bite Beauty and am always trying their new products. So when they came out with their Agave Lip Mask I picked it up right away and I haven’t put it down since. It is a leave on mask that is so moisturizing you’ll never suffer from chapped lips again. Plus it lasts forever. I’ve had mine for almost a year now and I still have a ton of product left. I rarely ever have chapped lips and when I do, it doesn’t last for long! My one and only complaint, as I’ve mentioned in previous posts, is the packaging. As you can see in this gross picture, the dark gray paint (or whatever it is) begins to flake off and leaves the tube looking like a hot mess. But the contents are so amazing that I let it slide! The Creme de Rose lip balm is a little piece of luxury that will also leave your lips feeling smooth and hydrated. Not to mention the fact that the scent is heavenly and the packaging is so chic. It will definitely make you feel ten times fancier than you would by just pulling out your old chapstick.
What are your favorite products to save your skin, hair and lips during these chilly winter months? Tell me in the comments!

Great post! My lips actually get sooo dry in the winter, to the point that it becomes painful and lipstick/gloss just looks terrible. I will definitely try the agave lip mask!
